Information for people wishing to volunteer their help

As a small rotary club, running a very big event, we rely upon VOLUNTEERS to help us run our MAJOR Fundraising venture. If you would like to help us, please use our contact form (Volunteers) to get in touch.

Our day starts very early (often in the dark) and finishes mid afternoon.

At our Roose HQ:

  • We need volunteers to help with administration on our START/FINISH desks.
  • With our refreshments stalls.
  • Traffic mangement/parking

On the various rides we need stewards at a number of locations to guide riders unsure of the route and to warn traffic of the presence of our riders (we are not permitted to stop vehicles). Stewards will be allocated a specific location beforehand and will be required to check in at Roose before the start and at the end of the day. You will be told how many riders to expect and the times you need to be on site.

If you would like to volunteer, please use this link to contact us (use the VOLUNTEERS form) and if you can also indicate the time you would be available that will also help us to allocate rescources.
