Rotary Centenary Pathway

Rotary Centenary Pathway in Royal Leamington Spa

With the help of the Warwickshire District Council and the Rotary Club of Royal Leamington Spa, a pathway was created from Princes Weir to the Grand Union Canal.

Thanks to John Hughes of the Rotary Club of Royal Leamington Spa for initiating the idea and Dale Best, Pete Rourke and Roger Dewsbury from WDC for their huge input.

The Rotary Club paid for 100 trees to be plated in an area between the weir and the canal whilst the District Council agreed to resurface the pathway.

A reminder that the Rotary Club of Royal Leamington Spa has been in the town for 80 years (1925-2005) supporting the community.
